Bi Yan Wan from Treasure of the East is a classical/modern Chinese herbal formula in concentrated 5:1 granules (100g bottle), also known as Coix & Mentha Combination or Nose Inflammation Formula.

This formula releases the exterior, clears heat and resolves toxicity, unblocks the nasal passages, dries dampness in the head, and dispels pus. In modern Western terms, it supports healthy sinus and nasal function, helps maintain normal inflammatory responses in the upper respiratory tract, promotes clear breathing and mucus drainage, and assists with comfort during congestion or irritation—making it particularly useful for patterns of wind-heat or wind-cold with damp-heat and toxin accumulation in the nose and sinuses, such as nasal congestion or stuffiness, runny nose (clear or yellow), sinus pressure or headache, sneezing, loss of smell, post-nasal drip, facial pain or heaviness, or chronic rhinitis/sinusitis symptoms, commonly seen in acute or chronic sinusitis, allergic rhinitis, rhinitis with heat signs, or lingering upper respiratory congestion in TCM terms.

Treasure of the East specializes in full-spectrum, water-based herbal extracts produced by Tianjiang Pharmaceutical, using premium, tested botanicals to preserve active compounds and energetic properties. Their products emphasize purity with no artificial additives.

Key Ingredients (typical 2023 formulation):

  • Yi Yi Ren (Coix Seed) – drains dampness and clears heat.
  • Pu Gong Ying (Dandelion) – clears heat and resolves toxicity.
  • Jin Yin Hua (Honeysuckle Flower) – clears heat and resolves toxicity.
  • Bo He (Mint Herb) – disperses wind-heat and opens the nasal passages.
  • Cang Er Zi (Xanthium Fruit) – opens the nasal passages and dispels wind.
  • Xin Yi Hua (Magnolia Flower) – opens the nasal passages and disperses wind.
  • Bai Zhi (Angelica Dahurica Root) – opens the nasal passages and relieves pain.
  • Additional supporting herbs such as Huang Qin, Lian Qiao, or others depending on exact batch for enhanced heat-clearing and toxin-resolving effects.

This product contains no preservatives or artificial additives. Use under the guidance of your practitioner—this provides classical, effective support for nasal and sinus patterns involving congestion, runny nose, sinus pressure, headache, and heat-toxin accumulation in a professional setting.
